After more than 20 years of involvement with various parts of what is now the PIDG Group, most recently as the founding Chair of the PIDG Group since 2017, Andy Bainbridge will be stepping down at the end of June 2024.
Andy was previously a Non Executive Director and the Chair of GuarantCo, is a former Non Executive Director of EAIF and was part of the Barclays team that was one of the original funders of what became EAIF, the first entity within PIDG.
Yukiko Omura has been appointed as the new Chair of PIDG with effect from 1st July. Yukiko is a Non-Executive Director on the PIDG Board and has been with the Group since 2013, first on the GuarantCo Board and later taking over as Chair when Andy became the Chair of PIDG. She has been on the PIDG Board since 2018 and is Chair of the Investment Committee and a member of the Risk and Nomination committees. Yukiko has extensive international experience working in both the public and private financial sector.
