We are pleased to announce the renewal of our partnership with the World Bank Group’s Global Water Security & Sanitation Partnership (GWSP), reinforcing our shared commitment to mobilising investment and accelerating sustainable water solutions in emerging markets.
Through our new commitment, PIDG will continue supporting the mobilisation of private capital for water infrastructure, sector reforms, utility strengthening, and project preparation.
The renewed partnership will also advance the Water Forward initiative, a collaborative effort to unlock private investment in water by addressing sector bottlenecks, improving project bankability, and creating stronger pathways for commercially sustainable water infrastructure investments.
Since the partnership began in 2020, PIDG and GWSP have worked together to strengthen enabling environments for private sector participation and build a pipeline of investable water projects. We look forward to continuing this collaboration to improve water security, strengthen climate resilience, and support progress towards Water Forward as a Water Forward Partner.
