The Private Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG) and the Government of Kenya, represented by the National Treasury, entered into a Memorandum of Understanding establishing a partnership for the provision of technical assistance to the Kenya Public Private Partnerships Directorate (PPPD). PIDG and the World Bank’s Public-Private Infrastructure Advisory Facility (PPIAF) have partnered to scale up support to the PPPD and select county governments in developing climate-resilient infrastructure.
Under the auspices of these support programmes, PIDG is seeking the services of a qualified transaction advisory team comprising legal and financial advisors to support the PPPD and the contracting authorities in reviewing, structuring and negotiating the proposed Sabaki Water Carrier PPP Project.
